Graduation Day!

Last Wednesday was fun for us because it was...
Preschool Graduation Day for Jack!

Getting his "diploma" from his teacher, Miss Amy

His good friend and carpool buddy, Stevie

Jack and Miss Amy- she's a great teacher!

Jack had a great time at Miss Amy's preschool this year
and we are very proud of him. Preschool graduation is really
cute!!!

We also had Kaitlyn's 6th grade graduation that morning!

This is Kaitlyn and her good friend Grace. That is also Kaitlyn
on the wall, along with some of her artwork

She was awarded the Presidential Academic Award,
and received a nice letter from President Bush.
Her teacher is the bald guy-Mr Coiner.
She has been such a trooper to go back to elementary
school this year because we moved.
We are glad she is so adaptable-and smart!!

A busy week at school!

We spent a lot of time at Lomond View this week.
Kaitlyn had her final orchestra concert and did great! Takes after her mom...

She also got really brave this week and ran for student body class officer for Junior High next year. She made three posters and gave an awesome speech to the entire 6th grade. 33 kids ran and only 3 spots were allotted for her school. She didn't get elected, but we think she is really cool for trying!

Pirates posters-no surprise there! We've since had lots of comments from people who saw them at school and thought they looked neat.

We took Brownie to school for 3rd grade pet day....some kids even brought horses. It was a zoo. Here is Cameron (middle) with some of his buddies-Skyler and Thomas.

Cameron also had a 3rd grade performance complete with singing, dancing and a stick routine.

They only have one more week of school-packed with field trips, parties, yearbooks and probably a few movies. HOORAY FOR SUMMER!!!

no catchy title-just the latest pics....

The boys getting a taste of summer....in their clothes!

Kaitlyn's cookie bouquets raised 45 dollars towards
girls camp at our ward picnic and YW auction last week.

They were a hit!

We went to Jesse's graduation party at Polly's house
on Saturday night. He finished his masters degree and they
just bought a home in Layton. Congrats Jesse!!!!

Typical Jeremy.

Polly's house looked really nice (she is a crafty remodeler!)
and Jackie is a cute pregnant mommy. It was fun to see them all.

This is big....really big!

Here is some big Findlay baby news.... our "baby" has conquered a major habit- thanks to some good old fashioned bribery and a few stickers.....

We struck up a deal with Jack that if he stopped sucking his fingers for 10 whole days, we would buy him a star wars lego set that he's wanted very badly. Kaitlyn made him a cute chart, the deal was set and look what happened....

He actually did it. Really did it. Not one sucky finger day. Not one sucky finger while holding "blankie." Not one sucky finger in the car. He really did it.

So after 10 days, we headed to the store to pick up the prize- which was kinda pricey for a kid his age-like $80.
BUT....we had promised him and honestly didn't think he would actually do it (he was totally addicted to those fingers!)

These are the two fingers he USED to suck...

And this is the real reason he wanted that Lego set. MORE STAR WARS GUYS!

We're very proud of him. Our baby is turning into a big boy.

Let's go fly a kite....and build a snowman???

It was warm and beautiful on Monday, so we decided to go fly a kite at the park for FHE
(notice the fair condition of the mountain...).

The sky and sunset were cool....

Fast forward 24 hours...same mountain. By the time I took this picture, the snow had already melted down by our house. We had about 2-3 inches.

It's a typical Utah spring, so I guess we'll just stay inside and eat really big strawberries!
