Happy Travels

We just returned from our annual summer trip to my parents house on Lake Tapps in Washington. We love to visit them and have so much fun on the island.

This time everyone jumped off the dock!

This is Jack's splash as he jumped in. He is getting to be a great swimmer!

We spent one day in Seattle on the pier and had lunch at our favorite Ivars, fed the seagulls and shopped at Pikes Place Market. It was a beautiful day.

Thanks Mom and Dad for a fun trip!

(sorry about the gross ad for bikini bumps- what can I say, it was a "free" video!)

Cameron is 10!

Cameron celebrated his 10th birthday this year on Pleasant View Founders Day.

He got a ripstik and has learned how to ride it already!

We think he is an awesome kid and we are so glad he is in our family!

We spent the morning at the parade...

We also had a friend BBQ, community salmon bake dinner, family birthday party and fireworks!
We have lots of reasons to celebrate!

Farewell to a friend

We are sad to report that our long-time pet of more than 10 years, Brownie, passed away today at 11.52am. He has been a great friend and pet and brought our family much joy. We will miss seeing him hop around our yard and sleep under the roses.

3 reasons to love spring.....5 year old T-Ball, rainbows and flowers!

We love watching Jack play T-Ball.

His favorite position is 1st base-cause it gets all the action!

He's a heavy hitter!

We had the most amazing rainbow(s) the other day-

It looked like it was covering our neighborhood.

And it shed beautiful light on our yard and flowers.
This is what it looks like when all the snow melts!

Hurray for warm weather!!!

Jack was playing his favorite reading game on the computer today and when I checked on him, this is what he looked like....

Smarty-pants!

He is a funny kid!
